Description

Bianco Precast is an amalgamation of three highly successful precast concrete businesses, capitalising on the experience and expertise of each respective organisation.  The Constress business was taken over by Bianco Walling in July, 2004.  The Bianco Walling Division soon located its operations to the Constress site of 12 acres at 535 Grand Junction Road, Gepps Cross, South Australia.  PCP was also acquired, adding precast drainage products and major structural precast elements to the range of services.  This division is located at Kilkenny, South Australia.

Constress commenced its operations in 1957 as 'Consolidated Pre-stressed Industries Pty Ltd', by the late Napoleone Floreani.  Passing this business onto his sons, the family business continued to grow specialising in prestressed concrete, architectural concrete panels and complex precast concrete products.  The business grew to become the largest leading precast manufacturer in South Australia, producing architectural precast concrete (including polished finishes) and structural precast concrete elements, thereby meeting the dual demands of aesthetics and durability.

A quality endorsed company, Bianco Precast has designed, produced and supplied precast concrete components to the Australian construction industry since 1957 as Constress.  As a result, the products of Bianco Precast  have become a highly visible element making up the character of a number of Australian cities including Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Canberra.

With quality a major factor in precast manufacturing, Bianco Precast has established a NATA-accredited laboratory within one of the manufacturing facilities and has invested in advanced technology such as:

  • European manufacturing technology and CAD/CAM equipment
  • Computerised concrete batching plant
  • State of the art, fully-programmable, polishing machines.

All units produced by Bianco Precast are cast to architect's design and are used either as loading-bearing, lost formwork or post-fixed, depending on engineering requirements.

Finishes include:

  • Polished reconstructed granite
  • Sandblasted finishes
  • Acid etched
  • Smooth off-form finishes
  • Washed exposed aggregate
  • Brick Snaps
  • Form liners
  • Reconstructed sandstone
  • Custom mould design

With the availability of our polishing machines, Bianco Precast has developed a reputation for quality polished finishes and has manufactured high-quality, polished, reconstructed granite for some of Australia's prestigious buildings.
